Never did get those photos posted.
   Now the containers are gone. Oh, well...
It feels like winter's finally arrived. After basking in the balmy temperatures that were above 10 degrees Celsius a few weeks ago (and knowing that it would end sooner or later), it has been a real drag dealing with this minus 35 stuff! It has been cold this past week or so. Wimpy me!! I don't like cold a great deal, kinda hibernate in the winter months. Much like a bear, Ha Ha!
  I picked up my paintbrush again, see if I can paint a few masterpieces. I'm painting a canvas bag that I started a few years ago. It will have a different landscape scene on each side when I'm finished. One side's done, other is about 3/4 done. After using oils, acrylic takes a bit of getting used to. I think my pics look OK, I'm happy with them.
  Homemade beef barley soup for supper tonight. Yummm! And No Sodium either, big bonus in my world! Homemade seems to be the only way to go these days.
  I  do miss those high sodium fat filled Big Macs though...

Dog cookie day!

Today I am decorating some containers of dog cookie mix. At Christmas, our local SPCA had a 'Mew-tique' at the mall. They were accepting donations of things to sell to raise money. I have an awesome recipe that is so easy and cheap to make and tasty too. (Just ask Buster-Boo) So I layered the dry ingredients in a jar and added a few ribbons and doo-dads and voila, a cute gift for a dog-owner. They sold out of them right away. Now I am making some to take to the Shelter and they can sell them there. I have 12, all decorated differently. I have a lot more Christmas supplies than anything else so I'm using a few things that have been here awhile. So accomplishing 2 things, good for me!! I will post a few photos later.
